Pastor Weems became the Senior Pastor of Heritage on Father’s Day of 1991.
He and Teana met in Athens, viagra generic sovaldi Greece when they were children. Reggie and Teana have three children and nine grandchildren.
Pastor Weems began his ministry as an Independent Baptist earning a BRE, advice MDiv and ThD from Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary. When Heritage joined the Southern Baptist Convention, he returned to school and gained his BRE, (Graham Bible College), MA (theology), MDiv (pastoral leadership), STM (theology) and DMin (leadership and management), all from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is presently a PhD candidate (historical theology) at the University of Babes-Bolyai, Cluj, Romania. His pastoral models are Richard Baxter, John Newton, Charles Simeon and John Stott.
His missionary models are Adonirum Judson and Jonathan Goforth. His favorite theologians are Jonathan Edwards, Charles Hodge, and Samuel Rutherford. Of Scottish descent, Reggie is an anglophile of Puritan and Baptist history.
Joel Miller is new to the Heritage family, joining our staff as our Student Pastor on June 1st, 2013. He and his wife Ginny have two boys, Benjamin and Daniel. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Joel loves cheese-steaks and pizza. Ginny home-schools the boys and enjoys keeping an organized house. Joel has been working with youth for over 10 years. While working as a volunteer youth pastor, Joel drove a trash truck. He has a degree in Outdoor Education and appreciates the outdoors, which points to our wonderful Creator! His passions are making disciples who will make disciples and having a great time while doing that.
Charlie Scalf joined the Heritage staff in March 2015 after serving as senior pastor of Roan Hill Baptist for six years. Prior to his tenure at Roan Hill, he served as church planter/pastor of the Assembly Baptist Church. Charlie has nearly thirty years of musical experience as a multi-instrumentalist. The Lord has combined his love for shepherding with his passion for music.
Pastor Charlie received his BA in Biblical Education from Graham Bible College in Bristol; his MA in Theological Studies from Liberty University; and is currently finishing his MDiv, also from Liberty University.
Charlie and his wife Angela have been married since May 2005 and have four children, Hannah, Josiah, Jacob, and Isaac.
